This Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for digital products and services offered by Vidyaro (“Vidyaro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website www.vidyaro.com, mobile applications, and related platforms (collectively, the “Platform”).

IMPORTANT: Think Before You Buy

All purchases on our Platform are FINAL. We strongly encourage you to carefully review course details, descriptions, curriculum, and pricing before making any purchase. By proceeding with payment, you acknowledge and accept this Refund Policy.

1. Digital Products - Non-Refundable

NO REFUNDS for Digital Products

As per the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and Indian laws governing digital goods, all digital products and services are NON-REFUNDABLE once access has been granted or the product has been delivered.

Digital products include, but are not limited to:

  • Online Courses: All live classes, recorded lectures, and online programs
  • Video Lectures: Pre-recorded or live-streamed educational videos
  • Study Materials: Digital PDFs, e-books, notes, and downloadable content
  • Test Series: Online tests, mock exams, and practice papers
  • Digital TextSubscriptions: Access to premium content and course subscriptions
  • Course Access: Once you gain access to any course content, it is considered delivered

Legal Basis

Under Indian law, digital goods and services that have been accessed, downloaded, or utilized cannot be returned or refunded. Once course access is granted or content is viewed/downloaded, the sale is considered final and complete.

2. Failed or Duplicate Transactions

If payment was deducted but course access was not granted due to technical issues:

  • Contact us immediately at [email protected] with transaction details
  • Provide payment confirmation, transaction ID, and screenshot of the failed transaction
  • We will either grant access or process a full refund within 7-10 business days

For duplicate charges or accidental multiple payments: Full refund of the duplicate amount will be processed within 7-10 business days after verification.

3. Refund Processing Time & Method

For eligible refunds (failed or duplicate transactions only):

  • Processing Time: 7-10 business days after verification of the failed/duplicate transaction
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used during purchase
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days may be required for the bank to credit the amount
  • Deductions: For failed transactions, full refund without deductions. For successfully delivered products, payment gateway charges (2-3%) may be deducted as applicable
  • Notification: You will receive email confirmation once the refund is initiated and completed

4. No Partial Refunds or Transfers

  • No partial refunds for courses, even if you have only attended/viewed some portion of the content
  • Course enrollments cannot be transferred to another person or another course
  • No refunds for subscription renewals if you forget to cancel before renewal date
  • No refunds due to change in personal circumstances (relocation, schedule conflicts, etc.)
  • No refunds due to change of mind or dissatisfaction with course content after access is granted

5. Exceptional Circumstances

Vidyaro reserves the right to issue refunds at our discretion in the following exceptional cases:

  • Course/batch cancelled or postponed indefinitely by Vidyaro
  • Significant technical issues on our end preventing course access for extended periods
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions) preventing service delivery
  • Service closure or permanent unavailability of purchased content

6. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India, specifically the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
